Our History
Amorea Designs was originally founded in 2003 by Brent as an electrical, general contracting and design firm. With over 30 years of experience in the construction and design industry, Brent brought a wealth of knowledge, professionalism, and hands-on expertise to every project. Over time, the company evolved, gaining valuable insight into its strengths and areas of greatest impact. By 2015, Amorea was restructured to focus exclusively on electrical contracting—where the team’s skill, passion, and profitability aligned most clearly. Bold Electric was born. A full rebrand of the company image and structure. We never looked back!
In 2018, Cole joined the company as a journeyman electrician. From day one, he demonstrated a strong work ethic and a vision for growth that matched Brent’s long-term goals. Recognizing the value Cole brought to the table, the two had in-depth discussions that led to Cole becoming a partner in the business.
Their partnership brought new energy and balance to Bold Electric. Where one had a weakness, the other had a strength, creating a dynamic and highly effective leadership team. With a shared commitment to quality, innovation, and uplifting their team, Brent and Cole are guiding Bold into an exciting new chapter.

I hired Bold Electric to complete a panel swap at my home. Ethan the service guy was very professional when explain the options that I could take in order to get the result I was looking for. Once the process started Ethan was quick to get the ball rolling with arranging the city and Enmax and answered all my questions very promptly. The electrician that came to do the actual swap was very professional, knew his stuff and explain all the new features that my new panel had and we worked together to figure out what all my breakers did (no info on the old panel). The pricing was very reasonable and I would recommend the company as well as work with them on future projects.
We are very happy at Mckenzie Lake Chiropractic and Massage. We were lucky to receive help a couple hours after we called in. The massage table wiring and air hose were failing and required some TLC. Danny with Bold Electric showed up on time and serviced our table impeccably. Super happy with his work! Meet Our Team!
Brent Ballash
Brent founded Bold Electric in 2014 and has been part of the company (formerly Amorea Designs) for 22 years, bringing over 33 years of experience in the electrical industry. As a Master Electrician with expertise in residential, commercial, and industrial projects, Brent is known for his deep electrical knowledge, integrity, and approachable leadership.
In his role, Brent oversees sales, client care, and the overall vision of Bold Electric, ensuring every project meets the highest standards.
Outside of work, Brent is family-oriented and enjoys cooking for loved ones, camping, and anything that brings people together.
Cole Chapman
Cole joined Bold Electric in 2018 and has 11 years of experience in the electrical industry. He is experienced in all sectors of electrical - residential, commercial, industrial and with his primary focus now being on management. Cole brings exemplary organizational skills to the company. He’s the one busy streamlining our systems, making BOLD Electric stand out with our Builders and Clients. His daily focus is to improve and advance Bold’s systems to continually drive Bold Forward.
Outside of work Cole is knowns as a Gearhead. Anything with a motor that I can do with my family. Racing dirt bikes, boating and exploring with the Side by side.

Pat Sitko
Pat joined Bold Electric in 2022 and has 8 years field and electrical experience. His strong Communication skills make him extremely approachable and easy for our field staff and clients to work with. Pat’s days are spent scheduling, sourcing materials and estimating.
In his spare time you can find Pat coaching his kids sports teams, spending family time, and working around the home
Kyle Koral
Kyle Korol joined Bold Electric in 2023, bringing over 13 years of experience in the electrical industry. With a strong background in residential and commercial systems, Kyle is known for his attention to detail, clear communication, and ability to foster a positive work environment.
In his role as Residential Coordinator, Kyle oversees day-to-day scheduling, quality control, and client communication—ensuring every project runs smoothly and meets the highest standards.
Outside of work, Kyle enjoys spending time with his family at the lake, fishing, swimming, and playing pickleball. He’s also an avid hockey and baseball fan, proudly cheering for the Boston Bruins and Toronto Blue Jays.
Ethan Decelles
Ethan joined Bold Electric in 2020 starting his electrical career as a first-year apprentice with Bold Electric. After completing schooling to receive a diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology he joined the team to gain industry experience and hasn’t looked back since. Ethan is known for his problem solving and for providing creative solutions with technology as a younger member of the team.
At Bold Electric, Ethan has been the Service Manager Since 2023, and his focus day to day is providing walkthroughs and quotes for the service and renovation projects and creating solutions to ensure our customers receive the best experience with Bold Electric.
Outside of work, Ethan enjoys anything outdoors, especially off-roading and hunting.
Jeff Reinhart
Jeff Reinhart brings over 25 years of experience in the electrical trade, having worked across residential, commercial, and industrial sectors, including leadership roles. He began his journey in the industry in 2000 and rejoined Bold Electric in 2022 after previously working with the company in the early 2010s.
As Service Coordinator, Jeff is the go-to for organizing service calls, supporting technicians, and helping customers troubleshoot electrical issues. Known for his strong customer service skills, problem-solving abilities, and talent for mentoring others, Jeff plays a key role in keeping operations running smoothly.
Born and raised in Okotoks, Jeff is deeply rooted in his community. Outside of work, he enjoys coaching his son’s sports teams, playing darts in a local league, and spending time with his wife Kim, their blended family, and their two dogs, Billie and Zoey.
With a passion for connection and a knack for leadership, Jeff is proud to call Bold Electric—and Okotoks—home.
Sarah Zimmer
Sarah joined Bold Electric in 2025 when her company, Blue Arrow Electric (est. 2019), became part of the Bold family. With 12 years of experience in the industry, she has worked on everything from hydroelectric generating stations and industrial projects to marine work and custom residential builds.
Known for her strong planning, quality control, and client relations skills, Sarah keeps projects moving forward and ensures both clients and teams feel supported along the way.
Outside of work, Sarah enjoys time in the mountains, getting lost in a good book, running, and traveling with her family.
Ari Kawalauskas
Ari joined Bold Electric in 2024 and has 12 years of experience in the industry, with a background in residential and commercial. Ari is known for problem-solving, technical understanding, and code related knowledge.
At Bold Electric, Ari focuses on estimating upcoming commercial projects and supporting the field on current projects.
Outside of work, Ari enjoys listening to and playing music, camping, and cooking new things.
